Space Koi Progress

This is the start of the Space Koi Progress. He decided he wanted me to work on the bars first and then do back ground last.
It’s dark right now but I used black, light and dark gray, gray wash.You can look at the profile of his elbow and see the swelling. I stopped at the lower end because he was getting swollen and I didn’t want him to have any healing problems or discomfort while working with his healing tattoo.
