This tattoo is inspired by the song Little Acorn by the White Stripes. The Tattoo is a little girl with her hair turning curly and forming the shapes of hearts. The next stage will be a back ground of an oak tree.

This girl got her tattoo in another shop and she figures from the lack of photos in the girls’ portfolio this was one of her first tattoos. The lines were super shakey and some didn’t even connect. She was super unhappy with it and wants me to redo the whole tattoo.
First I had to draw on her to see what could be done with the broken lines and what needed to be deleted or added.
I found pics of gears and machinery along with pics of bio-mech (not bio mech tattoos) to try and blend together to make it more of what she was wanting. Here is the linework to see what I started over with.
This is the first part of shading. There are soem ribs showing and they should be closer together but they were left in teh same spot instead of trying to cover or add more of them showing less machinery.
